New tires don't look bad. Cousin brought his new 308 down last weekend and we mounted a scope on it and dialed it in 100 yards. 20210607_182416.jpg

Battery or electric? We have a couple of electric Milwaukee’s at work and get good service out of them.

My past jobs did require me to hurry up -- which in a service position is completely understandable, time is money in a production environment after all.

That said, runaway policies of "do a little more with a little less" and projects dictated by people with too much power and too little knowledge made the last 10 years ... :redxfall:... bad.

Best thing I ever saw was the company sign in the rear view mirror of my creaky old daily van. :turtleride:

Yeah, I don't believe it matters what brand, those angle grinders drain batteries fairly quickly. Milwaukee, Dewalt, or Metabo those are a few brands of angle grinders we (mostly welder dudes) use at work, all decent quality. I like the Metabo but especially because the one I got was free. It was brand new and must have had a damaged plug because it was cut off. I removed it from the trash, took it home and put a $3.00 plug on the cord. Works great.

I’ve got an electric DeWalt at home, it works great but my only complaint with it is the handle is bigger than the Milwaukee and it hurts my hand after some time. I guess that’s my arthritis though.

One of the few harbor freight electrical items still working. Is angle grinder. The on off switch is sketchy but still works. I do have a ryobi electric angle grinder i bought this year seems to be holding up. But im not using it heavy. Milwaukee would be my top choice

I also acquired a Metabo that someone thought was broken. I am pretty sure it was just the thermal protection that kicked in and shut it off. Runs pretty hard.

I’m writing to inform you that I received this file in error, it is not intended for me and is specifically labeled for someone named “Rahl”. I’m also informing you that I blatantly opened it with no regard to the original recipient and I am now constructing this facility at an undisclosed location. I now require your assistance in acquiring a juke box, skate sharpener (hard to find in Florida) and whatever a “pop” dispenser is. In addition to these items I also require additional details on the construction of a “solarium” does this require an actual sun? Or will some solid state plutonium work, as I have a surplus at my disposal.
    Please advise,
    Undisclosed Recipient

We had all DeWalt tools at my old job. They worked, held up to ham handed users and I could get parts to repair them. In the end I respected them but never particularly liked them. DeWalt seems to fall down on ergonomics and ease of use.

Makita tools are my favorite, feel nice in the hand and have well thought out features.

I honestly must say, Black & Decker recently upped their game, I grab it over my Milwaukee any day.
The only downfall to it is finding big enough balls to run it. :benchpress:
