Yeah, I ordered straight from ironman. I knew there was going to be a wait, especially these days, but its really pushing it now. Atleast I know it'll show up sooner or later.

You're right about the 6112s being a smidge smaller than 2.5". They're like 2.38". For some reason they looked and felt huge when I was helping my dad install it on his truck.

Thanks! Sound advice for sure that I'll be using when I install mine.

I ordered direct from Ironman. I knew there was back order and I am in no rush to get these on ASAP. Just whenever they get here.

Awesome tip. Thanks for sharing. Just ordered the Super Lube off Amazon

Did you lube everywhere or just the bushing? I hear people lube up in between the leaf springs to stop squeaks

Well knock on wood, I haven’t had to grease in between the leaves yet. The leaf packs came with little pads on all the leaves that have done the job so far.
Of course you could just do it anyway, especially with good sticky grease that’ll stay put for a good while.

Did any of you guys add extended brake lines when installing your lift? Are they necessary?

Are you asking because I have a Bro rake? I know, I hate it.
I got the standard load pack. I’m just 2WD though, so I’m a couple hundred pounds light in the front. 4WD conversion pending.

I have +4" SS brake hoses for the front and rear from Low Range Off-Road.
I would recommend them, but each situation will be different. It seems like the 2nd gens need them more than 3rd gens.
You’ll know if you need them or not though.

Should I have bigger than stock bump stops? Yes probably.

I was just looking at how short my bump stops look in those pictures
Where did you get your set?

@Jojee117 any write up or documentation on your 4WD swap?

Lol. Actually, I ask because I have a 2nd gen myself, 2 wheel drive as well. I have the performance leaf pack sitting in my garage and am wondering how much lift I’m going to get in the back. Do you know how much lift you got in the back?

I had it done by RST while they were in the process of stealing from other members on here :anonymous:. I did do all the research and feel that I could do it, but I liked the sound of a warranty, plus I didn't have the time or space. There has since been a thread made that details everything pretty well called "4wd swap for dummies" or something like that. Aside from that, you end up having to do a lot of piecing together info from various threads. PM me if you want a thorough explanation of the process.
