They've been fighting a losing battle now for 6 months. And the only reason they continue to fight is because the kind of people at that level are sociopaths, and they also need time to offshore their personal wealth. Everybody still in this game at this point at a high enough level knows what's ultimately going to happen. When you're ken griffen and you're buying some of the most expensive real estate in the world, you don't really care about what's going to happen to you until it happens. You keep fighting it out day by day, because what do you have to lose? Nothing other than the respect of your fellow billionaires. And the other billionaires might not invite you to the next epstein party if they realize how stupidly you bet your fund's money.

There's an entire class of people that none of us knew anything about until recently. A class of people that had no laws, no boundaries, and no consequences for their actions.

They're all about to get their prized companies destroyed. They'll escape with their billions, but hopefully they lay awake at night wondering how the internet possibly managed to upset their status quo.

Like I've said many times before. Fuck 'em

okay. But still you're implying they're somehow both going broke to manipulate the stock while offshoring their money and also have a couple trill to pay out for the due shares. No sense make

I don't think he's saying they're going broke, he's saying that there aren't enough shares available to manipulate the share price in a big enough swing to matter.

Do you remember the issue? I still remember the first one “borrowed” from my uncle’s collection. He had hundreds of back issues in boxes. He no longer has the May 1981 with the intoxicating “Girls of the Adriatic Sea”. That was one way to learn geography. https://www.vintageplayboymags.co.uk/80s/May/01.htm

    Of course. https://www.amazon.com/Playboy-Magazine-January-Carrere-Cover/dp/B000NVU4D4

I don't think that was the cover though. It was Tia Carrere, but it was before 2003

Actually, on reflection, yah that was probably it.

I was 18 in 2003. And while I was thinking it was Tia Carrere, now I'm not so sure. I was back there hunting when I was 15 or 16. So 1999 or so. I might have to dig through the archives to figure out which issue it was. At any rate, my mom took it from my room, so it's been gone forever now.

    Same with TD.

That will be the excuse to step in and halt trading or payouts, so the "retailer" doesn't get hurt...
