Sagging leaf springs?

I noticed this afternoon when I was under my truck that it looks like the leaf springs are permanently bent. Took these two pics of each side. Seems to me like there’s some serious bend to them. Thoughts?

 

They look worn out to me . How old are they ?

 

They actually don’t look very old . Dakar’s right ?

 

Read a thread about this a while back. Supposedly this is just how they sit on these trucks. I have ome dakar heavies and they still have a little whoop in the middle even when my bed is unloaded. Nothing as noticeable as yours though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the stock leaves do this too.

Edit: after doing some digging it appears this was so bad on the 2nd gens that toyota actually put out a TSB and replaced them. Haven't heard anything about that for the third gens though. And since you're running an aftermarket spring setup, I guess it's irrelevant but noteworthy nonetheless.

Also I see that you have the dakars as well. Mediums from what I can see in the picture? I started it with those and do remember that they looked like that. I did an AAL to bring it up to the heavy rating after putting a steel bumper on, and ended up without the bump in the middle, or whatever you want to call it, anymore.

Also any other details about the truck could help. Lift, armor, bed caps, etc

 

Yeah, they’re the Dakar medium duty springs. Put them on less than a year ago and haven’t had anything heavy in the bed since. I didn’t get any pictures when I had them put on originally so I don’t know if this is how they were then but it seems wrong to me. This is also without any weight in the bed or the spare tire so there should be very minimal loading.

 

don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure that is just how those leaf packs rest when not under load

 

My Dakar’s look the same. could be your heavier than you think or as always it’s how most Dakar’s look.
