Another noob question about wheels / tires. I see a lot of 17x8 or 17x9. According to what I see my replacement wheel is 17x8.5. So what's going on with this? And would my current tires fit?

The second number is the width of the wheel. Tires have a manufacturer-specified acceptable wheel width. Here is a random example.

Since you're there, what about the blinker fluid?

Blinker fluid was well in stock. I splurged the extra cash for extended blink life

Sucks they didn't have wiper fluid, I'll just have to use 5w-30 instead

It's okay, I've got spots for mod switches!!! 20210607_093926_resized.jpg

First mod is to put in an on/off rocker switch for the backup alarm (fuse has been pulled immediately after she backed it up in the driveway)...I'm sure it could use some side mounted flood pods, too!

    Right on!

Hell, I’d almost add a back up camera.. I’ve seen waaaay to many people who like to walk up to the back side of any working equipment and almost get run over. Not trying to send any bad vibes your way. Just saying.

Do I see makeshift coms attached to the cage in the rear view?

Indeed we do use the radios to communicate, even got her the earbud setup for under on-ear hearing protection, I mean how else do I pass on "attaboys" to her while I'm sidelined!:101010:

Backup camera install would have to be done in tandem with one for the DD '08 civic! Definitely will be more important once the little one is bigger...

Was going to do a similar setup that this guy did, but for toddler totting vs. tools, but my machines exhaust is down at the bottom section...so no-go for modified approach.

The sales guy said folks setup the rear hitch w/baskets (or other fab'd options) and put counterweight in it for more hauling ability in theory!
