Still feeling good! The 1" taller tires were slightly noticeable but drivability and mileage stayed the same. I think i get a little better highway mileage at or above 70, which is probably why overall mileage didn't change. I just did a 4000 mile trip to moab, mojave, and death valley and the tires were great, the truck felt a little doggish above 5000' on those 70-80mph highways... If i lived in Utah or colorado I would probably be kicking myself for not going 4.56, but here in the PNW from sea level to 5000' it's great.

Is there any way around having to go to the stealership for a B1650 code? They told me it’s $145 for a OCS recalibration. Also asked if my vehicle has been modified in any way therefore letting them off the hook if they can’t recalibrate it but will still be happy to bill me the $145 to try.

I haven't found a way to calibrate yet. Wish I did. I have a heavy set family member and twice now the weight has screwed up the occupancy sensor. There is one video of a guy calibrating a RAV4 with a Snap-On scan tool but it's a few hundred dollars. If I go back to the dealership I'll see if I can put 30lbs in the seat for the calibration.

I watched that… $900-$1350 on EBay for that Snap on scanner. I might be the culprit Heavyweight:anonymous:

That's good to know. I'm about to throw some 35s on, and right now on 285/33's anything over 70mph and my mpg goes out the window on 4.30s and auto trans.

Hey. The Cut Shop is great. Although I technically own a Tacoma, I won't have it until late July. Any problems with me rolling up in a 92 prelude? :D
