Colorado Springs and Fort Collins are 130 miles apart... are you really open to that much area?

The Crags trail and Raspberry Mountain trail near Divide are two of my local (to Colorado Springs) favorites They're somewhat high-traffic, but not obnoxiously so... I usually pass 10-20 people on either trail. The Crags Campground looks nice, but it's first-come and probably fills up quick every weekend.

We are open to that much area. From where we are at it doesn't make a lot of difference in the drive

Sorry man, not familiar with CS but some counties/ cities have "kids" ponds where they stock stuff constantly so as to make it good for kids.

Buddy just told me about this https://coloradofishing.net/KidFishing.htm

    Mentioned at that website https://cpw.state.co.us/kidsfishing

In town check out Prospect Lake or Quail Lake - they usually stock those. There is also a small pond in Manitou next to the aquatic center that I heard they stock and its supposed to be a kids-only fishing pond, you might call them and inquire. You could also drive up the Pikes Peak Highway to North Catamount and South Catamount Reservoirs for fishing and great views (small entry fee).

Anyone know of a shop where I could get some sandblasting done? Longmont area. I have a steel bike (frame and fork) that I want to repaint. Sandblasting rather than stripping it by hand would make this project 100x easier.

I called them before to sandblast a frame. Basically they said it wasn't worth their time unless they also did the paint/powdercoating (plus a clearcoat) for about $500.
If you call and get a quote for just blasting, let me know!

I used to take bicycle frames to local headstone and monument companies. They all do most of their work with sandblasting and don't have work every day, so they'll mess with something as small as a frame.

So I just spoke with them and they quoted $200 for just sandblasting. I was kind of hoping to be around $75-100 if I'm honest, so I told them no thanks. Totally understand their position, I just know I can strip it by hand with chemicals for $30 and destroy some more of my brain cells.
