I’m still trying to catch up- but that was a productive time out you had… I’ll have mine up when I’m thread current but don’t think I did as much as you.

I was wondering how come some ppl were saying the opener only works with truck on but I know mine can anytime. Since I park outside this might be something I need- to look into

I know there was a question of whether or not the power wire actually had power in the later models. If the wire had power it would work whether on or off. I specifically used the harness that used the switched power so that mine was off when the vehicle was off. Didn't check to see if the the power wire actually had power or not.

Tested it on 25 May. Posted the results later that week. I was not impressed at how it performed. Will not buy another one.

just bought my truck last week, and it has this same mount. I figured the PO did some sketchy stuff in the truck, but makes WAY more sense to have a dash cam!

Scored a bed mat yesterday for the price of 5 tacos(the food kind)!!! One of our trade-ins had one so I asked our UCM what it'd take to for it to "fall out of" the back. He said- "Tacos from Chandos?". Deal!!!!!!

Buddy of mine a couple years ago had like 3k miles on his 2016 Tacoma and was driving down a rural road and a guy pulling a trailer lost a 5 gallon bucket of roofing nails (on my mothers life I swear it) 4 flat tires and had at least a half dozen nails in each one. I don't think I have ever seen him so pissed off.

I've seen some wild stuff for sure while driving. For some reason I see a lot of A frame and extension ladders laying on the highway and always crunched or bent... feel bad for the vehicle that takes one of those out. My dad hit the tank of a toilet a few years back while driving the 405 in LA, came off a trailer going to the dump and the car in front of him swerved to miss it and it was dead in his path. The front end of his SL550 was tweaked to the tune of about $12k.

I narrowly avoided a double fly 24ft ladder once during a snow storm on 395. That would have been a wild ride to hit.

We were going down a 2 lane road and met a guy pulling a trailer and a toolbox fell off of it, nothing we could do and centered it. Tore the front end up on my wife's 2019 Suburban.....it had 6,000 miles on it. $3,500 to fix and the guy never stopped.

Added some more horsepower by purchasing those OEM blank switches for my dash and for my aftermarket switch panel. One of the blanks broke so I had two holes there for a while lol.
