No problem! I did document my install with loads of pictures if you want to see anything else, linked in my signature.

I do but first some context. I bought it with 196,000 miles and what I believe was the original suspension. Both struts and both shocks were leaking oil and the leaf springs were flat. All that is to say it was lower than what the stock height would’ve been.
I measured from the center of the wheel, 18” in the rear and 19” in the front before the lift. After the install I had 24” in the rear and 24.5” out front.
That was right after the install, it may have settled more by now. I will measure it again later on today and report back.

I’ll check that thread out. I have also gathered a bunch of separate bits of information. I’d like to print it all out eventually.

I remember looking at wheelers, they’re linked up with low range I believe. I’ll have to look into them again.

Appreciate the info! Makes sense as to why you had that much of a lift. Did you have the shell at the time of the install? Again, wondering how my numbers will look without any weight in the bed. I am currently at about 23” from the center of the wheel with an AAL on stock leaf springs. Been running for about two years now.

I did not have the cap at the time of install, that came a couple of weeks later.

I just measured them again, I’m in a fairly level parking lot.

Looks like they’ve all settled around 23.5”.
Why the front still looks higher, I have no idea.

Thanks for the in depth info! I do think that the shape of our fender flares contribute to making the front look higher. I have about a half inch rake and sometime it looks like my front is higher as well. Once installed, if the rear can settle to 23.5 or 24, I’d be happy. We shall see I guess lol.

I think you’ll be good, somebody on here told me they rolled around with a few bags of sand in the bed to help theirs settle faster. I was going to do that too but then I got the cap, figured that was heavy enough.

    What tires are you running?

I am planning on putting some weight in the back to help it settle. Do you know about how much your cap weighs?

I am running 265/70r17 KO2s. C rated. I like them. Might go up to 275s once I need new tires.

    I think it’s around 200#s.

Same diameter as mine then, just 17’s instead of 16’s. I was thinking about going up a size when the time comes as well.

I used to have 285s. But I found them to be to heavy. They did look nice, just rode like crap in my opinion. Hoping 275s are a nice middle ground.

We’ll my 265’s are heavier than I wanted so maybe I won’t do that

Have you ordered an IronMan kit or are you just gathering information first?

My 255s are 59lbs each and wheels are 23lbs each.
The Cooper 285/75s are 61lb each, so not much heavier than I have now. I just didn’t want to chop chop yet…

You can search around, different tries/brands have different weights for the same size. That’s just my experience with 285s E rates tires. But again, they did look nice. Lol

I bought the performance leaf pack from Ironman about two months ago, I just haven’t installed them yet. I have Bilstein/OME 884s up front. I just want to replace the AAL I currently have installed.

Oh, and BTW for those folks who ordered their suspension package before Ironman announced their free air compressor giveaway with each order if you mention it or reach out to them on their instagram post they may send you one for free. I commented on one of their post and I have one on the way as we speak for free. Great way to make a customer happy for sure.

I'm running 285/75r16 KO2s with FCPs and SPC UCAs, no cutting no rub. If someone who really knows how to do an off road alignment sets it up with caster adjustable UCAs it can be done without needing to cut metal. The guy who set mine up said worst case I'd need to mold a tiny bit of plastic depending on the tire(some tires run bigger, some run smaller).

I had considered still trying but no close off road shops, well that I want to go to right now. I should get the stuff to do an alignment myself. My 255s were rubbing in some cases on plastic near the cab mount.
