anatomy of a day trade:


this closed at like $5.5 yesterday, big gap up in premarket - resistance is the red R's. it hit resistance at the open. bounced of support at 8. First buy in was where it broke 8.5 on an increase in volume...but i missed it....It consolidated right under 9, with increasing volume. Buy in at 9, stop loss at like 8.8 (10 cent risk per share). Your risk is stop loss * # of shares. I went 500, so $50 is my total risk. Then it blew up...i raised my stop to 9.65, as it faltered a little bit to lock in profits just in case it reversed...but got tagged by that tail on the 3rd bar up... 9.65-9.0 = 0.65 * # of shares = profit.

 

Are you all talking about the voting window that was sent out under accounts a little while ago for GME. I had a voting message that was sent under my shares but actually forgot to get back on and vote on whatever it was lol
