Hey y’all. So I bought a front license plate bracket mount. Took the license plate off from the original location and bam and this grime. I’m no detailer but I’d like to to fix this myself. Any advice on how and what products?

welcome! I really like McGuire's Ultimate Polishing Compound. Very gentile but works well.

Can start with simple car wax also if you have that on hand.

Tacoma badgeless 1.jpg I'll add... I relocated my LP several years ago. I found two color matched plastic plugs in the "nuts/bolts/auto" hardware section at Lowes. Good luck.

Gonna use a claybar after using polishing compound. Hopefully this works! Then I can focus on the deep scratches after

Btw haven't had time to focus on this small cosmetic repair because of work but a magic eraser got almost all the grime off. Now time for the deep scratches.
