Already replied to this message once, but I've got a new answer to the question. And the answer is: Not long!! Brought the grownup Grom home this afternoon.

1994 Honda Acty. It is a 4x4 manual right hand drive. That particular one is lifted and rhino lined. The interior is nice as well. They're asking $12k.

I like the cafe racer look, without having to build a cafe racer. I’m also a bit of a ‘purist’ preferring to see at least a few classic CB’s restored to their original glory, and not cut up and turned into something they are not.The only immediate change I have in store is mirror extenders to move them out to where I can actually see beyond my shoulders. Maybe a tail tidy and a slip on. Honda are not exactly masters of the understated when it comes to the size of the muffler, it I’ll run it for now. It actually sounds pretty good.

That should work if no flight delays... it's about a 30 minute drive from the airport to my house. Then ride over to Delassandros which is also roughly a half hour away but can usually make better time on the motorcycle.

The wife tried to ride my 700 lb 1,890cc cruiser as her first time ever on a motorcycle and I said yeah no, let’s wait on the Grom haha. She’s independent to a fault!

I let her practice letting the clutch out and walking it in a straight line but no feet up and shifting or turning until we have something lighter.

Got a nasty ding on the tank today…
Guess I won’t be waiting to paint ha

ABS only comes in Blue. I’m sure she’ll paint it or buy plastics pretty quick though so I just got her ABS and didn’t care about color.

She wanted the white just to get the gold shocks but none in stock and I wanted her to have ABS on her first bike even though it’s a little less necessary on a Grom that something bigger.

Long story short, I was at an event on my bike and a kid had a medical emergency. I parked close to my wife’s 4Runner and when I saw the kid bleeding I ran to get my trauma kit in the 4Runner. When they asked me to take him to the ER just up the road I came from the other side, forgot the bike was there in the focus of the situation, and pulled out and barely clipped the tire of my bike juuuust enough for it to fall. No biggie except it was right next to a metal sign post and fell directly gas tank to metal post. I jumped out, stood it up, and got to the kid. Didn’t assess it until I got back but I thought it was going to be much worse. Wow, that was long story medium. My bad haha. Felt dumb for clipping my own bike… was just focused on the bleeding kid.
