So GME lied on an SEC filing to follow SEC rules that would have launched an investigation because the vote count was over the number of shares outstanding? Something is way off here. My guess? The balls already rolling and the SEC, along with the Justice Dept, is already "correcting" the situation.

The way the form has to be filed requires that you can't have over 100% of the vote on it. The company that handles the vote processing "trims" it so everything falls within 100%

Why is it this way? Nobody knows and it's stupid as shit, but that's the way it is.

GME had nothing to do with any vote manipulation

 

Lots of reading in Barron's, WSJ, Forbes. Then set up brokerage account and do paper trading for a while. It allows you to play with fake money and gives you a good idea of what you want your investing style to be.

To really understand it all takes years. Even then I still am on the wrong side of a trade more then I'd like. In the long run as long as you win more then you lose you'll make money.

Yes, the money is there by the numbers, but as I've said before, I think that pricetag starts to get into "Fine, I'll go to prison" territory. I think at that point you start to fuck up politician's campaign donors too much and there will be some kind of intervention. 100k*25 million GME shares is 2.5 Trillion. That's about what the Federal government takes in tax revenue per year. That'll get some attention.

 

DTCC has 68T in "insurance" before it even starts hitting the big banks. Lets take that.
