LC300 is interesting.

 

just looked it up, man how far the mighty have fallen. In the US anyway, everywhere else still gets the cool Landcruisers.

 

Front end reminds me of a new Expedition; really bold square front end.

 

Isn't this the last year for the LC in the states? I thought that was 2021 but I guess it's 2022 now?

Since no one in the US will pay 80K for a Toyota badge I hear we won’t be getting it. I’d love for the 70 series to get released in the US but the target market here wouldn’t want to buy new.

 

Makes sense. It's turned into a luxury mobile anyway over here, might as well just keep the Lexus version around and ditch the other.

It does seem like at that price they are directly competing with their luxury Lexus brand anyway, so why would someone want to spend that kind of money on an LC when they could get an LX or any other Lexus variant for the price.

Unless said person is a Landcruiser fan, but then what actual Landcruiser fan would want to buy a modern day LC that in no way resembles the ones of old.

The LX took the US market in 2001. It's been steadily outselling the LC for years.

 

BECAUSE it needs that add-on TRD muffler tip...
