The tune still has some dead spots then, like I said it is almost no RPM coming to a near complete stop and then going again in 1st. I have replicated it many a times. If I go full stop there is not an issue.

    So. Many. Stickers.
With the ADM done you'll be able to feather your clutch just a little bit and have no issues punching it out in first.

As far as ethanol versus non-ethanol gas thing, I'm not aware that VF tuner reads that, it does do octane learning however. From what I've seen most of the time non-ethanol gas tends to be higher octane but that may not always be the case. I know there's a particular station just south of Nashville to the west that has 87 octane non-ethanol.

Both are 87 it just seems much more peppy with ethanol. I have always used non-ethanol unless I was out of town/state and couldn't find it. Just surprised it runs doggish with non-ethanol. I am going to hit Shell this weekend for a full tank of ethanol. Maybe I got some gremlins like @MOC221_

It could be? Or, just some odd fuel. Two tanks of odd fuel is extremely weird though.

When I have gotten a hit of non-ethanol, there was a noticeable improvement. Hard to say though.

I usually run non ethanol fuels.

I think the bigger thing is some brands are noticeably different than others. Shell and kwikstar are usually my goto. Casey’s too. Holiday, flying j and others have run noticeably worse.

I run Casey's but because they always had non-ethanol. Always my vehicles have performed much better not to mention the MPG factor. This one likes ethanol for some odd reason, oh well it's cheaper anyway!

Success! Very thankful for the instructions! Finally a normal clutch. Now time to get some ethanol in this beast and roast some tire

Just did the accumulator dremel mod about a week ago, It's soooooo much better. I was surprised that there weren't any springs, balls...moving parts inside of that thing. I guess it just "worked" by forcing the fluid through that small flat orifice for lack of a better word.

Same here. I thought there would be a mechanism in there.

I believe that square seal compresses slightly during the engagement stroke to decrease the flow.

Does anyone have a acumulator that they are trying to get rid of or sell? I was hoping to bore it out before I crawl under the truck.

Lets just say some guy who can sometimes be a little dense, was attempting the ADM ,,,and while attempting to remove accumulator body, removed the bolt shown in the image attached instead of that top right mounting bolt on the accumulator. Bolt was returned to its home immediately and tighten snug. Anyone know how this person could find the torque spec for that bolt (it broke free pretty easy) and if the removal would cause any issues? Thanks!

I'm a sinner who just tightens bolts until they feel like they're close to breaking and I shouldn't test my luck, and leave it "guudenteiht" . Or I break it and regret being born. :notsure:

I had to go back and look at pics as I didn't even realize that it was there. IMHO, I'd grab the shared Service Manual and see what the hell that does. The torque spec will be next to it.

    Actually, go here:

Soooooo, that's why you still have that bastard installed. :D

At least you know that you can git 'er done when it comes to clutch time. Maybe in another 200k?
