Just called them directly, they informed me that that size bed does not support the sliding Windoor. I'll get by without it.

The sliding windoors so far are my favorite part of the shell. Haven’t got the rack on yet, waiting for some parts, or the sleeping/work platform but I think those will compete. I went from having the tonneau cover which was nice but it was a pain to get stuff from the front 1/3 of the bed. Being able to open the windoor makes my life so much more convenient. I often work off the tailgate and use my truck for work heavily. It’s a massive help and allows me to store my tools along the bed rails and access them while working off the tailgate.

If ARE didn’t have them for the LB I would go somewhere that does.

If I'd not found a good deal on my cap 2nd hand I'd have ordered w/ sliding windoors. Admittedly haven't looked into it, but suspect they're essentially a plug-n-play replacement that I'll likely do down the road. But even solid windoors are a game changer/near must have.

Yeah man...it's all so expensive!!! But I wanted a swing away, tilt, and fold up bike rack. This isn't exactly what I wanted, but it does meet those needs. I'll post some photos of it in action.

Hey, I didn't want to post a dozen photos so here is a quick YouTube clip with multiple photos of the rack in action. Something to consider, it what is it like to deal with the rack when there isn't a bike on it (sometimes it's on the truck for days after I come back from a trip...and it's a pain). I HATE spinning the blue handle to use the swing away. Other models have a simple giant cotter pin that makes so much more sense. Also, I wish the front "grab" encompassed the whole wheel vs. the "hook" method. I use re-usable zipties and always cinch it down to the hook. I have a unique front fork configuration, so that is likely a factor. Lastly, I'd like to see something more modular. I don't always bring a second bike. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to add maxtrax or gas/water storage??? Oh..and WTF?!?!?! Why don't the manufacturers add LED lights for and the ability to hook it up to our tailgate power so we could have break/signal lights. LEDs are so cheap these days, and most hitches come with traditional trailer power supply.

I need to find something similar that will also work for a moto carrier so I can haul my Husky FE501 and then switch off with a bike rack for my mtb... With a topper I have to yank around an Aluma moto trailer which doesn't perform that well on fire roads..

Thanks for taking the time to do that! I really like the idea of a swing away as I would be able to use my bed area properly. That RakAttach option might be the way to go for me. Love your setup. Thanks again!

Hi can someone help identify my camper shell?

I bought it off of someone with a Tacoma crew cab. 02.

Is there a product I can use to patch a hole and screw back into?

Pictures are a thousand words. Please help me find out if my camper shell is correct.

    Many thanks in advance.

Is it correct for what? Your '03? Are you trying to patch a hole in the fiberglass?

Yea sorry, I bought the topper from a guy that had a black 02 Tacoma crew cab.

I see that one if the screws on the left is not biting into fiberglass. So I was thinking of patching it and having the screw go back into it.

I wanna say this topper is for my truck but the part where the front of the topper and the back door meet it's not moulded to the curves. Overall I paid $600. Can't complain since most toppers were 4hrs plus for a color matching one and they wanted 800. Plus the drive and gas.

I'm just trying to figure out the brand and model number so I can wire the dome and brake light correctly.

The screw just pulled out of the fiberglass? The fiberglass isn't cracked, correct? I'd just get some bondo or fiberglass impregnated bondo. Remove the glass frame and fill the hole and spot paint it.
