You’re right, the one in front they were tuning was a “base” model or whatever and 80k. Reasonable price for what you get and what an individual would pay in parts to make it or very close to it. I don’t know anything about buggies though. My retirement accounts need more zeros before my brain will allow me to learn about them.

    Check out the build
Quick question on the JD pivot relocation kit. I saw this on description:
    • PLEASE NOTE- 3rd gen lower control arm bushings are required for the install. ACDelco Part number 45G3800
I have the TC stock lowers since my stock ones were trashed. Why do I need these bushings? Is because of the cam bolt size?

Yes, the cam bolt diameter. You should be able to get a replacement sleeve from TC for a 3rd gen and be all good.

from the website: The OE second gen rear bushings must be replaced with 3rd gen bushings in order to run the larger 5/8" rear bolts

All lower pivots now use a 5/8” rear bolt which is the same as a 3rd gen. The second gens are 9/16” and we did away with that for strength. If you are doing all the work to install the lower pivots then upgrading to a 5/8” rear bolt is worth it

Blurry but quick pic. 2.25+LCA pivots in, trucks on its own weight! Now just waiting for coilovers before final alignment...I'm headed to Moab next week Friday so cross your fingers they arrive.

I might just buy new oem 3rd gen lowers. I don't feel like fighting with getting the stock bushings out.

How big of a press is needed? I don't have one but I'm always looking for excuses to buy new shop equipment.

JD Fab: They made them. My truck was used for the 3d laserscan so they fit perfectly.

I know, but you see their availability online. I was just tugging a little on the supply chain over there at JD
