I just had the vf tune installed last week and for the amount of money I paid to have him come to my place and program it, i’d do it again in a heart beat…. FYI

I usually do my own work but if I do need a shop I always use the Sears Auto down in Media. It's a little bit of a hike but I have worked with a lot of the higher level techs and the manager there so I trust them to do solid work and be honest about what's needed. Actually will be dropping my Tacoma off with them this weekend to diagnose an AC issue.

Not sure when I could meet up, but possibly interested. I have the mud flaps and looking to jump to 35s. Thinking I'll need flares and only have the fronts. Not that color matches but MGM would be ideal. Lmk either way and exactly where your located if interested. I do not have the hardware anymore though, just flaps. I have no use for the flaps so free for the taking.

I can say that with Covid and all the changes learning a new job that is all policy really sucks. 19 1/2 years to go at a minimum. Hopefully I can invest enough to just leave it at that.

 

It's my god daughters bday today. So I brought my dog with me to my buddy's house. Was worried about his dog and my dog not getting along. They are doing just fine.

 

I know! Glad it's giving me issues now, the dealer I bought from included a one year aftermarket warranty that has worked out pretty well. So far they've replaced both front wheel bearings at almost no cost to me. A/C issues are covered as well so we will see how it goes. Again it helps to have a shop/ person I trust dealing with the warranty company.

@dewayne Hey Dewayne couple quick pictures of the tavern I was speaking of in Gettysburg. The Dobbin House. Cool place, good food. Small museum upstairs. Management asks if you take pictures in the downstairs area that you turn your flash off. We have captured orbs in pictures in the past.

 

I got a whole 95.5 taco for parts if your interested.

 

Been there , ate there , drank there , pretty neat. That whole area is neat , history, have to get back and see some more.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

A little cool down here today - not supposed to get above 70.

An old friend who I haven't seen in person since 1984 spent two days with us. Colin and I were Second Lieutenants in the same section of the Army's Field Artillery Officers Basic Course at Fort Sill, OK in 1978. Colin was a Marine, I was Army. We both ended up back at Fort Sill as instructors in the Field Artillery School 4 years later. As fate would have it, Lynn and I lived across the street from Colin's sister in the early '90s while I was assigned to 7th Infantry Division (Light) at Fort Ord, CA. We caught up on our life's experiences, shot some WWII vintage rifles, he introduced me to geocaching, drank some beer and bourbon and laughed...a lot.

Back to reality yesterday when he left - cut grass and (finally) washed the Tacoma after our trip to Kentucky where, apparently, I killed a large percentage of the cicada population with the front end of the truck.
