One more night then off til 6/27.

 

Got asked to come in for OT tomorrow.

 

Also got an offer for 40k for my truck.

 

I saw a listing for a ‘13 FJ with 32k for $50k the other day.

is 40k worth your while?

 

It would be like a rented a lifted Tacoma with 285/70/17s for five months for $1500.

I’m thinking of taking the money and running until I graduate, when I can start over with a new truck.

I drove a shitbox lifted 95 ram sport throughout college. Didn’t get my first “new” vehicle til the Tacoma and that started as a lease. Once we’re done paying daycare; I’ll get my Porsche.

 

Yup. Changing careers.

My income should be double this time next year so I can afford to dump money into my truck and a house. I just feel like I could pull the parachute now since there’s a good market for it, get rid of the debt and see what kind of vehicle I can get next year. Preferably a diesel.

 

they’re saying it could take 3-5 years for the market to catch up and prices “normalize”

 

Between payments and insurance, I’ll be about 12k richer in a year if I pull the plug now. I’m also thinking I would rather have an ACLB if I stick with the Taco.

 

Welp. Sticking with my Tacoma. Who is at work?

Her til 7am for the next 5 nights......then on to days I've been off since the 22nd. It was a much needed time away from work

 

bout to go to sleep. had a chill ish day. got to play in the small boat. then we loss throttle for afew minutes. so that was interesting.

 

Nice. I'm thinking about planning a trip on the TAT. This is a 400 mile trip. Should be pretty cool
