Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Willingness to roll up your sleeves gets you a lot of places, said as an accountant that spent half of yesterday cleaning out a storage warehouse and marking off electrical access panels

 

This picture from a couple of weeks ago. This was in the weld shop area, far from the machine shop.

 

I received a phone call a few years ago to go join one of our plumbers and HVAC guy on a roof because they needed a fresh nose hunting down a smell because they couldn't smell it any more. Guess that falls under the "other duties as needed" category on my job description.

 

w00t!

 

Now to find the time to actually get the ****ing thing put back together.

 

I always get the new guys with the torch popping when you turn it off under certain circumstances. Makes them jump and me laugh every time.

Thankfully! We do a lot of stuff that ends up being sold to the government so its all USA sourced materials

 

When you get the feed...just right...

 

Would be nice if our saw had coolant, it hates aluminum.

 

I use the coolant sometimes but most often I'll just stand there with a can of WD-40 and do it that way. Less mess. And about the best use for WD-40

 

We have a spray bottle with coolant in it we use if it’s thick enough to gaul the blade up.

 

If anyone thought I was joking about this drill sharpener spitting oil..., I notice that it's happening on smaller drill bits, also from having that valve off of there the other day, there might be a way I can tune that flow a little. After lunch
