    Whole lotta stuff
The limit for you is going to be weight. I'm in the same boat, I'm in the process of going 2+ up front and I have a hefty SOA setup (hangers, deavers, hydros) in the back with a 14". I've already decided I don't plan on going fast, I just want to keep it smooth and have articulation for the rocks. My truck is also heavy so if I wanted to go any faster, SOA would not be sufficient due to only having 4" of travel before hitting the bump zone in the hydros. So at the end of the day, if you want to go fast(er), you are going to have to look at something other than SOA. Doesn't matter if it's 12, 14, or 16 inch shock at that point.

A 2+ kit in my mind is just upgraded Mid Travel (also because weight), so for me it is going to pair well with my slow(er) speed SOA, but it might not for you.

Archive Garage rear towers/shackle flip/SUA. King Air bumps. King LT Coilovers in front. King 12x2.5 in rear. ARB rear air locker and twin compressor. SCS f5's with 33" Ridge Grapplers. 20" S8 mounted in bumper, squadron sport fog lights, squadron pro backup lights, LP6's bumper mounted.
When I had TC +2 my 539/540 HD’s with 12” smoothies worked pretty darn well in keeping up but once I switched to dirt designs 3.5” kit I realized the front could take way more speed and then the rear was really starting to lag behind, I could help fix some of it with tuning im sure but I decided to just bail on it all and go 4 link. Now I just gotta figure out valving for not running bypasses at first with this super long wait times, luckily found the last set of 2.5 x 16 coilovers from down south motorsports.

Makes sense and I may keep it that way. At least make it smooth an balanced if speed becomes a big factor diet or think of link like folks suggested. seems like just finishing up the rest of the rest and new leafs should at least work well with the +2. I was afraid it would need more but had not thought of the up travel as much. either way def looking into first on some since the truck is super heavy.

Weight distribution, spring rate, and valving can make heavy leaf sprung trucks jam. Look at old 80’s race trucks.

hopefully I’ll get a good blend. Truck is almost evenly distributed front and rear. since I need to get new leafs had me debating SUA or SOA but was leaning SOA but you guys have me debating that again.

You look like you're either close to or already at 1000lbs over stock. The last guy I heard call Deaver to make a tacoma SUA pack for that weight basically got laughed at and was told a tacoma SUA pack that could handle that weight would be so tall it would drag on the ground.

Maybe something has come out in the mean time that can be made to work, but I'm guessing it won't be cheap or easy to install, and at that point your back into "might as well link it" land.

Holy cow. Without measuring I don't know what I'm at over stock with a couple full size spares, rear dual batteries, the cantilever setup, and a bedcage, but even the e30's won't give me more than 6-6.5" of up travel until I figure the best solution for another inch to inch and a half of ride height.

Guess this is more your level:

yah easily. I am way over 1000 lbs which is why SUA was never in consideration. Looks like I am sitting at a custom SOA deaver pack unless I decide to link it (which very well may happen down the road).

Currently seeing what I can do to shed some weight but for its current phase it will be heavy no matter what I do.

did the low profile solo bed cage. I was thinking of something similar to maintain as much of the bed as I can.

near plans: 12" bypass, custom Deaver pack, archive hangars, cross brace.

future: Consider 4 link, 16" setup of sorts. As much as that sounds like the best option that will need to be a future plan.

For looking into link kits is this all custom or are there any good kits to look into?

Four link kits don’t really exist. At that point you either teach yourself a lot of new geometry facts or just cough up the dough and have someone build it for you. Some companies have flirted with the idea but it’s never really come into being.
