Ya'll complaining about heat and no A/C

kind of thinking lately that if I won the lottery I'd just buy and fix all these old yotas

 

Have to play to win though

I don't play, so I won't ever win

 

gotta spend money to make money, and all I seem to do is spend money

 

haven't ever bought a lottery ticket though

 

all the time and money I've spent improving this house is my current investment strategy. Maybe someday I'll make some equity on it

 

My Dad went on California's The Big Spin and only won 40K. I don't gamble or play the lotto so I won't be following in his steps anytime soon.

 

So much money went into the old house; granted I've got something to show for it but nothing I'm actually using myself.

I'm sure you're in an equity position though, especially in today's market.

Dude I feel you. Kid expenses just keep going up and up every month plus our OR trip ended up costing a bunch more than we anticipated - now I've got a weeklong Missouri family reunion trip in another 3 weeks. Going to probably put us out another few grand between car rental and hotels alone.

I guess its only money....*sigh*

 

I'm already used to what hell feels like though, at least that far north there are actual winters unlike down here

 

That's awesome that you were here for that. By the end of the season the snow burms were 6 feet plus. Taller then my white truck.

If you come up again in the winter I'll hook you up with some sking or snowboarding.

I fell in love with hitting the Sierra's around Christmas time; holy shit was it beautiful

 

Looks close to the Sequoias by the looks of those trees, makes your T4R look like a matchbox toy lol

 

My friend and I were talking about these kind of things the other day. We grew up with the mentality of being frugal is being successful... but spending money that makes your life better or gives you good experiences is rarely wasted, right?
