watching tv through radio..

Ok so i got a pioneer 4200, i saw a picture on the forum here of a football game on someones head unit, I thought it was maybe done through the aux or usb cable? I have the I phone and i downloaded the justin tv app. (live streaming tv) I hooked it up through the usb with no luck,then i hooked it up through the aux and i get the sound but no picture,am i doing something wrong? the radio also has a video port in the back but i assumed it was for extra screens for the rear passengers..Thanks for any help,i read the instruction manual but am not really having any luck..thanks again..

 

I have the avh-3200bt. I don't want to watch tv but I still have the same problem as you getting videos to play off my ipod or iphone. I was told it could only be done with the pioneer cable so i bought one and still no luck. I have the same prob, i get either video or sound but not both.

 

usually there is a 4 pin 3.5mm jack in the front for audio/video. A normal one comes with only three pins, contacting the audio portion only, as for video through usb i don't know if its possible without checking the headunit specs...

 

Maybe if I unplug the USB and just leave the 3.5 plug in?

 

some of the older pioneers arent capble of ipod video..i know my old avic d3 was one of them
