I didn't think that the wiring was the same for the head units in the 2020+ trucks as the 2019- trucks

It isn’t the same, but there is a company that makes harnesses for it.

quoted for the harnesses was around 235usd

Do they made something allow the old head units to work on the 2020+ trucks?

Good question, I don’t see why not, but not 100% sure on that.
Company is called AutoHouseHarness, I’d shoot them an email and see if it’s possible.

Should have a basically new 2021 entune non-jbl unit in about 2 weeks, once I get my new Joying head unit delivered/installed. Will update.

I’m going to be removing my jbl headunit as well as the factory amp and subwoofer if anyone is interested? Also what’re these going for? Screen protector on since day 1 and only 5 months old

I don't know if you fellas are still looking... but I don't know why you would be? I sold the Entune unit from my 2020 about a month ago, and I bought a Kenwood Excelon with a Maestro unit. I've used the 2020 Pro JBL system as well, and I'm still insanely more happy with the aftermarket than the Entune.

I guess if your goal is to retain a stock look, but the aftermarket head units have some many cool bells and whistles...

Does the center dash screen work as OEM? Is it limited in function in any way?

If anything, paired with a Maestro RR module, its significantly more functional. There's one caveat, which is an adapter not being available for the OEM microphone. Luckily, a forum poster has been custom building them for us.
