I was reading this thread last night: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cut-exhaust-regrets.341126/

and since no one really seemed to regret cutting their exhaust, I decided to do it. Just for what it’s worth I have hung up on my tailpipe Offroad before and it’s kinda mangled.

Mind you, I drank anywhere between 1 and 18 beers, then I got my reciprocating saw and cut it.

Woke up this morning for a fishing trip and my traction control, abs, and e-brake light is on. Fuck.

So, I’m an idiot. But I drove on the highway for about 80 miles and Offroad for about 2 hours on some pretty bad trails and I’m ok.

Haven’t researched yet home I’m gonna go about fixing this. Any input aside appreciated. I guess that’s why they say not to operate power tools under the influence.

That should work. They make those with heat shrink already on them, worth the couple extra bucks. I'd still get a some shrink tubing large enough to go over the entire area, but that's just me.

It’s an allpro expo pack. I know you will say go to a local suspension shop and have them fit it with some additional leafs to fit my needs. I know of no local shop, and I live on an island. I really like what the leaf pack has done for my needs. It may not make sense to you, but fishing in Hawaii is quite a thing. 500 or more lbs in the bed +\-

That's quite the leaf pack. Did that lift the rear really high? I had two more leafs put in and it lifted the rear quite a bit. 2000 lbs in the back barely makes my truck squat now.

It lifted it around 2.5-3” never actually measured, and it handles a load nicely. I’ll add the weight i carry is in the bed, not on a trailer.

Also, the ride unloaded is not the best. It is over done for normal use, but it’s rarely unloaded cause I have a Camry and use the truck for truck things. I haul my own trash to the dump, camping every couple weeks, mulch, lumber regular for sides jobs. When I do drive the truck to work, my commute is about 2 miles. So I don’t have the problems others might.
