I have 2 hives in my backyard, In AZ doing Sakatraz bees. I average 1-2 stings a year.

 

What are Sakatraz bees? I’ve never heard of them.

 

A cross between Russian and another type, very hygienic and not prone to the Varroa destructor mite, down side they are not as nice as Italians )

 

Shop time with mom today. She ask if they could use the scrap wood we had. They made a fort.

Scrap wood? Thats like $5K in wood today

 

Impulse buy while waitin’ at the Wholesalers. Idk why they put this stuff right out in the open like that when you’re waitin’. Price was really good. Don’t really need it, I’m married.

 

Hah, you either eh? Damn. Mine is receding faster than I'd like, but it is what it is. I'm holding out ad long as I can. To be honest, once I get to that point I'll wear a wig. My head is too lumpy to go full on shaved.

You’ll love it, it’s a bit of a learning curve since it cooks hotter, but I’ve had one for about 10 years now. My least favorite part is cleaning the grates.
One thing I learned is that it likes the grates oiled before cooking. I keep a spray bottle of canola oil under it and use that. Or if you’re fancy, the Pam grilling spray works well.

He has been buzz cut Bob ever since.
