those wheels don't look half bad already. I'm sure there's a larger tire that'll fit on them.

If you want to beef her up a little you should go with some 35x12.5x17 kumho tires.

Yeah my current wheels are only 15” so definitely want to go bigger and get some good off-road tires. I’m also thinking about affordable lift kit. Possibly 3 inch. Not sure if that’s necessary if I get big enough tires but I am open to suggestions.

Welcome to TW. Looks like you have a 5 lug taco. You should check out the 5lug section, you'll definitely get a lot of info in there. Good luck.

If you care about performance/acceleration at all i'd avoid bigger tires as that will kill both. A regear could fix it, but that is more $$$. Welcome aboard!

235/75R15 tires will fit on the stock rims with no clearance problems.
Easiest wheel upgrade is wheels from other Toyotas.
Highlander, RAV4. Sienna and some Camry wheels are a straight swap.
Same goes for Lexus wheels from equivalent models.
As an example my 2013 AC with 16" Highlander wheels:

I know you will need a CMC definitely trimming on the fenders and more trimming :sawzall:lol Plus some hammering! They look bad ass on 35s!
