    My Tacoma has been towed to the dealer today as a result of multiple error codes that are fuel related *fuel pump replaced 2 months ago.
    Codes P0171,P0174,P0087. I have a case with Toyota corporate at this time. If you have experienced limp mode with any of the codes listed contact coperate as it needs to be documented. Dealers may not assist with this issue initially but with a case the service manager will contact you and make sure they do things right as corporate will following up with them and you 20210612_150152.jpg

    Will do there is another post we're they went into limp mode as well but it came out of it. Mine did as well right before the tow truck got there I was able to move the truck to a safer location. But prior to that it would not stay on. I will keep this thread updated every step of the way.

    I don't belive it was the fuel pump that was replaced but another fuel related issue perhaps second pump under the engine bay etc. We have a TRD pro as well same dealer and tech did that one as well and never had this issue.prior to fix I have gone into limp mode due to similar code but this was the first time that it would not stay on and with several codes and another pending code.

    So to clear things up, your taco didn't get the mass fuel pump recall done right ?

    Shit! I had mine done 2 weeks ago and it runs better. Low fuel pressure jumped about 6-7psi to 58-62psi. I thought I was through the woods...:annoyed:
    Thanks for posting.

    Thanks in advance OP;
    I'm taking my truck in on 22 Jun for fuel pump replacement, so it'll be good to have this info in case (although unlikely) something goes sideways.
    :thumbsup:

    I believe there is something else that is causing this issue ad not the in tank fuel pump. For those that got the fix I don't mean to alarm you just want to inform on my specific issue and if there are others post here. Let's figure this out and share the results.

    Appreciate the clarification likely not the new in tank fuel pump then since you had the problem before and after replacement. Let us know what they find, thanks!

    Exactly was not concerned too much prior as Toyota informed me this would be the fix (as the codes lined up for fuel pump issue etc). But obviously it is not the solution for my situation. It is worth noting that for several months it drove fine with no hiccups, codes etc. Until yesterday and today. When the tow truck arrived it was as if it never happened and I even drove my Tacoma up on to the bed of the tow truck. Fault codes cleared as well.

    Yeah if they want to buy it back it will be at a premium... plus all my add on will need to be removed.... I already have my dealer informed to reserve a 2022 manual TRD PRO. Was going to get the pro as an additional vehicle may need to be a replacement for this one.

    Working on it ...
    Just got my recall notice yesterday for my truck. My wife’s 2019 Camry got same recall notice 2 months ago. Have to get them both addressed. I’m wondering if I make an appointment to have them both done on the same day the dealership will give us a courtesy car.

    A little nervous about this as both vehicles are running perfectly fine currently.
