Been waiting for these all day. Restaurant style, no good for you seafood
Olive oil, butter, garlic, worstershire, lemon juice, and green onions from the garden.

Get that pan hot as the devil, plop the scallops in, salt and pepper, and flip juuuust when they start to brown. You over cook scallops you get rubber bands.

Topped with parmesan cheese packets from the local pizza place. *chef's kiss*

My two toaster waffles with peanut butter on each with a glass of milk with whey protein no longer sounds like a good dinner…

This summer I’ve been cooking for one basically every meal so I’m going into college cooking mode a few months early. Unless my roommates are culinary snobs I’ll be doing bear minimum.

Hot plate and a mini fridge, and you can cook almost anything in the world one way or another. Hell, you can even bake a cake if you get ingenious with it

I’ve got a stove in the apartment the school is using for dorms. I’ll have my two skillets so I can make breakfast tacos. Eggs in one, frozen potatoes in one. Microwave the frozen breakfast sausage/turkey bacon. Tortilla and cheese.
That’ll be about a third of my meals I can garuntee.

All set then. Get a skillet with 4" sides on it and a lid. That'll take care of everything else. Soups, sauces, simmers, steaks, burgers, etc.

    This: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cooks-St...e-Lid-Multi-Ply-Clad-Stainless-Steel/20551065

    Or this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstay...on-Stick-Jumbo-Cooker-with-Glass-Lid/55322856

I use a covered wok a lot personally. It'll do everything the regular high side skillet will do but doesn't have quite the floor space to do multiple steaks and stuff. But if you're cooking for one, doesn't matter.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
Go buy a ninja air fryer/pressure cooker

toss in chicken breast/thighs with chicken stock
Salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and then your choice of flavor sauce (doesn’t matter nutritionally cause it cooks out anyways)

    cook til easily shredded
Add to meal prep containers with a single serving of freezer veggies

    bam
Healthy, easily adapted, and no real dishes/space required.

    Now you’re talking.

I cook 6-7lbs of chicken in my Instapot weekly. I’ve got a few go to recipes. My favorite is a jar of salsa Verde + a packet of hidden valley ranch seasoning. The broth left behind, I could drink with a straw :drool:

    Fucking parmesan packets...you're an animal!

BTW...How about some fresh mussels? We're doing some testing at work and I have to shuck and homogenize about 300 of them...Here's what a sample looks like (15 mussels) when I'm done...

I like to do fat free italian dressing with 1/4 of a lemon squeezed and tossed in and then marinate 24 hours...Sometimes Greek AND Italian dressing. The lemon gives it a perfect accent...I have that for lunch every day...Pita with grilled chicken (Shredded) some pepperjack cheese, spinach, sliced tomato, garden arugula in season...Love it. It consistently fills me.

I love chicken marinated in Italian dressing but Kraft quit labeling theirs gluten free and I was struggling to find a gluten free version. Wegmans brand is but I keep forgetting to grab it when I’m there. I’m adding it to my list now so maybe I’ll actually remember next time :fingerscrossed:
