I LOVE fresh swordfish. They get a bunch of parasites, but when you get a clean one my god it's as good as king salmon

I worked in a restaurant that served "schrod" = random flaky white fish....The cooks held it up to a light once to show me how many worms and parasites the fish had before cooking....
Well I still eat "schrod" ...just cook the shit out of it! More protein!

well I just hope that those 2 years of my life were better for me than eating 2 years of fast food.

I’m sure the fish outside of Long Island don’t have lots of toxins… hahaha.

he was doing a fairly decent job at driving straight. But I don’t know if going 40 on a highway with his hazards on was the wisest decision he could’ve made.

Picture doesn’t show as well as I thought but buddy was driving at a solid angle lol. Almost caused 2 wrecks while he merged. Saw them almost happen in my rear view since he waited to merge right before his lane became an exit again.

This reminds me of one of my favorite MAD magazine cartoons...It was a split cartoon that showed a New England Clam chowder shack that said "Our clams come from the clean fresh waters of Long Island sound"....and a Long Island clam chowder shack that said "Our clams come from the clean fresh waters of Boston harbor"
Of course in the '80's both were shit shows but it was hilarious...

Most fish have parasites of one sort or another. Commercial sushi, the stuff you get at a restaurant is always flash frozen to kill them, even if it's listed "fresh"

I've eaten enough raw seafood off the back of our boat that if it hasn't killed me yet it probably won't.

Swordfish are one of the few that get some stuff that hurt people if you eat it raw.

As a rule, unless it's inherently poisonous, you can eat anything in clean saltwater raw.

I also used to eat raw ground beef as a kid though...

I mean the dude looked scared as hell. Don’t think he was drunk. The car definitely had issues. Car is angled yet driving straight. When I passed dude looked super focused. Just seems to be someone who doesn’t understand calling a tow truck is an option. forums doesn’t allow for a video from phone. Pictures don’t really show what’s going on.

Super focused, swerving lanes, evening on a Saturday. Call the cops.

I mean not now, but when you see it call it in. Reno has a shitload of high and drunk drivers. I call them in if they're obviously impaired

Edit: didn't see he had his hazards on. Even if his car is fucked up, call it in. If he's too stupid to pull over and call a tow truck he shouldn't be driving anyways

Not swerving. Was a mechanical issue. Rear axle not aligned with the front. Imagine your car is angled 10 degrees to your right yet the vehicle is traveling straight. Apparently some people call this “crab walking”
