Surfing is so much fun. I’m by no means any good at it but I can get to my feet and ride like a goofy footed howlie in my $99 wetsuit in 6 foot waves.
I stand up paddle board around here. A wetsuit is a must. Once you go wetsuit you love it.

See that’s fine outside of a 401k. In a 401k you’re already getting the 22ish % free return because it’s not taxed, plus the company match. Let’s call that a total of instant 30% return on dollar for dollar vs just taking the pay home.
Why turn around and as a 30 to 45 year old lock up 10% like that. You’re looking to build. If it dips you’re buying more with your weekly paycheck buys.
Now if you’re 55 or older then I get the move.

Nah, this thread needs more hobbies.... I went fishing 3 times yesterday. Went to the river and was very unprepared for the monsters that I was trying to catch.

Did a shakedown run yesterday up the Bishop side of Coyote Flat and out the Big Pine side. 35 miles of dirt. The frame repair seems to be holding up so in a few minutes I'm heading up to Laurel Lakes to go after some Goldens.

It sits at just under 10000' and you can drive right up to it with a 4x4 rig.

Yea at first it was only open to residence on that side of the bay and now it’s back open.
