Great ride yesterday in flyover country despite the oppressive heat. The ol girl ate it up.

Question for the cuckoos nest….current garage doesn’t have an outlet near the girl to run the tender, can I run it off an extension cord? :anonymous::notsure:

Yes, draw is pretty minimal, I do it every winter.

Wait, you mean to tell me there is a period of time you don’t ride? Thanks again for the cruise control, it worked great!

Or pull the battery and bring it in. Usually pretty simple on the bikes I’ve had

I think I missed all of February this year but normally I get at least one ride in every month over winter, usually more. Late January thru February are greatest chance of getting me off a bike for that long though.

    Glad to help you out.

Would y'all rather do 4+ hours on back highways @ 65mph on a windy day,
or about 3 hours on the Interstate doing 80+ mph.

Deciding my route for tomorrow's trip ha.
No wind protection on this bike yet, so debating more hours less fatiguing or fewer hours more fatiguing tomorrow morning.

    Peace.

personally. The slab is ‘necessity only’. Even taking straight ‘back’ highways is better because it’s generally just less stress. Less lanes/ramps/trucks. Easier to see everything (possible threats) and enjoy it a bit more.

I put a screen on and load up pretty heavily a few times a year, and she loves to run, but I still avoid the slab if I can justify it

Took the interstate last time, thinking back roads tomorrow to compare. Thanks, man.

I just want my shit fixed. Like 3 months ago one of my saddle bags got loose, the rear tire caught it and it derailed the chain.

so I decided to replace chain and sprockets.

when I torqued the new rear sprocket the friggin stud snapped off. Back ordered for 3 months.

I always avoid interstates regardless. Safe travels!
