    :thumbsup:

    The awning will be here Tuesday. Not sure how long it will take to get a way to mount it up, though.

    I'm going to order all my mounts at the same time which will probably be never and then I'll get the awning cuz I think if I get the awning first I'll go crazy not being able to mount it up

    Between the rack, lights, accessories, and now the awning and mounts, this has certainly been a process for me.

    As long as I get it all done before it gets stupid South Carolina hot, I'll be happy!

    Ordered March 27, just got it Wednesday. Pretty much within the parameters they said. Worth the wait. Rack is solid.

    Yeah, but it's not stupid South Carolina hot yet. I can still breath the air outside without feeling like I am swimming in it!

    <smart ass mode>

    with two wires. :rofl:

    </smart ass mode>

    I ran power and ground down the drivers side windshield, and tucked under the weather strip, at the rack end, I rand power into a 4 channel bluetooth relay board, and each light is wired into the relay board.

    I thought I had a picture of the wire routing, but I only have the relay module right now..

    All hell!…
    I’ll second the smartass mode

    3/4 inch drill bit! :)

    (end smartass mode)

    I ran my light bar wires the same way. Down the drivers side windshield weather stripping. And that light bar had three wires. Extreme lighting

    I drilled through the roof, but I also ran a lot more wires... Solar panel, 2 light bars, scene pods, and 2 light pods :taco:

    Just ordered the mid height Diamondback Truss rack but completely forgot to check for a discount code on this thread if there are any discount codes. Are there any at the moment?

    Either way I’m pumped and can’t wait to throw it on!

    Got notice that my 3x Straight-up Side Mounts shipped! :woot: Batwing will be getting installed soon.

    Will find out petty quick if I like the Batwing on the DCSB or if I am going to have to break down and add a TRUSS rack for it... Just sold one bedrack, now thinking about buying another. o_O

    I'm kind of brainstorming a cattywampus mount for a batwing awning.
    Dont have it yet, but an Alpha roofrack, Alpha ex bed rack - rack, and I have a mid-height truss rack.
    Would need to make some mounts to connect the awning frame to the roof rack to stabilize the front, and a drop bracket / riser bracket to connect to the bed rack - rack while still allowing enough space for RTT operation.

    This definitely sounds interesting! Post pics if you make it happen! I'm not that creative. It needs to work out of the box for me. :anonymous: :rofl:

    I need to do something similar. Bravo roof.rack and a diybtube mid(ish) height bed rack and RTT.

    I was thinking of a rear mount, Quick release system that can get installed at camp and then removed when traveling.

    Look forward to seeing what you come.up with. Perhaps it will lend inspiration for my own project

    Oh I am still a lonnnnnggg ways out from that point.
    Need to save the money, place the rack order, place the batwing awning order, make the drive from Alberta to Colorado, bring it back home eventually, then do something about mounting. Worst case Ontario, I sell the 270° awning and get a standard pullout awning (2m or less).

    I saw someone made some adjustable height supports to get more headroom once camp is set up - almost looked like ratcheting cargo load bars. Idk if that was on TW or somewhere else.

    Also need to consider the fact that the bed and the cab move independently of each other to a degree, so might want to use bushing mounts of some sort.

    Would love to see that if you find it and wouldn't mind linking, been thinking something along the same lines. Need my truck to fit in my garage so the mid height rack it is but would like to raise the tent up for camping so I can walk under the tent bottom and have the annex higher.

    Well team, excuse the crappy morning pics. Truck is covered in dew. Finally got the Bravo installed during a break in the rain. Solid, and love the look. However, I did either strip a screw, or sheered it. its' free spinning in the opening, but I cant pull it out, or drive it down. It's stuck. On one of the other screws, it just wont go in, so i'm going to try to tap it today (ran out of sunlight yesterday). Hopefully that will get it to fully seat. If anyone has any ideas on the stuck screw, I'd appreciate it. I'll take pics of that later.
