Autozone carries a version by Meguiar's. Works just as well and I don't have to order it online. It will strip waxes and gives you a clean slate. Carpro IronX is a very popular one, but has to be ordered.

    Meguiar's Iron Spray

I like to spray it on, let it sit a minute or two and agitate it with my wash mitt in car soap. It pretty much removes 95% of what clay does.

Thanks! Ginger is the first vehicle I have really been trying the detail thing with -- everything else has been 15+ years old when I got it.

BTW: I'm not very good at it... :notsure:

Nowadays there's so many great over the counter products that are super easy to use! To do what I posted was about 2 hours worth of work. Now, my truck's paint was likely in better shape, but that's here nor there. Now if you want to get into dual action polishers and polishing, yea that's a whole different ball game. I have that equipment as well, but I am keeping it simple for now...

I watch Matts off road recovery as well. It's amazing what people take off roading and don't know how to handle it. Did you see the one where a young lady had her Prius stuck? A Prius????

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Not sure how we missed it but we didn't get any of the rain yesterday or overnight. The sun came out yesterday afternoon and it actually was a beautiful day.

Grass cutting today. Be safe and enjoy this new week.

Good Monday Morning PA Folks. Have a good start of the week.

Maybe I should have said a "stock no mod " Prius. I don't think she would have gotten stuck with this one Bill.

    Be safe out there folks.

I hated shift work too Scott. Some people prefer it but I just couldn't adjust and my body let me know it. It was rough on both the wife an kids, but when it comes to keeping a roof over our heads I made the best of it. Hang in there Scott.
