    So you guys think it's worth getting the Total Chaos cam tab gussets. I don't wheel as often as I would and when I do it's moderate stuff nothing crazy. I'm running 285/75/17s with a 2-2.5 in lift.

    I don t have the cam gussets but I did weld the factory tabs so they wouldnt bend over. Been like that for over a year like this no problems

    I put them on my truck and they are great for if you bottom out hard, you can weld the tabs in place but the factory tabs are worthless IMO. I kept throwing my alignment cause I push the truck hard and did Tacotabs which hold my alignment in place and probably won't need a alignment for a very long time now. Some food for thought.

    I'm in this camp. I agree the factory tabs are crap but if you put a nice bead of weld behind them, they're pretty solid. I've not heard of anyone that has welded them and had them fail. In all fairness, I don't wheel my truck hard, but they appear to be pretty sturdy once welded. You could justify buying a cheap wire feed flux core welder from HF for the cost of the TC kit.
