Already that for at least 1/3 of the country population wise. And no one cares

This isn’t the first time you’ve said you are considering ditching your truck for something else. I’d say get rid of it. You don’t seem to need a truck. Get a Sienna. Not kidding — the new ones are rad.

If I didnt already dump 10k into the truck maybe but it would be a pain in the ass to either pull all the parts off the truck or get the value of the parts selling.

I've been playing around with the idea of selling mine. I might be getting transferred back to Missouri soon, If that happens I would probably sell it here in CO and get back in to a full size something or other...or get a project of some sort. If we end up staying out here I'll probably just hold on to it since it's perfect for weekend camping on public land.

I rented one out in San Francisco a few weeks ago for work. I actually really liked it; nice interior, really fast for a big SUV, rides nice, 10 speed was responsive, handled surprisingly well. Averaged about 20mpg over 250 miles and that was with me romping on it every chance I got.

I know, but you'll probably still see me here in 5 years considering getting rid of it, lol. Also, my wife did look at the new sienna, I hate minivans, but she loved it. I'm not sure how much of a fight i'll have in this battle haha

If you need more room just get a 4runner.

Nah. Trying to recapture value from depreciating assets is a waste of time.

    Run 'em into the ground.

That's pretty high on my list right now, for those that know the 4runner market better, have you guys seen those new car prices inflated as well?

That’s what I did. The wife was bummed I bought another Tacoma since our family doesn’t fit in it so it was nice to get rid of it and turn the $14k I walked into it with 8 months before to $15k cash towards the 4runner.

All automobile prices are increased right now. Supply limitations will do that.

Out this way anyway, 91 is $4.50+ at most places. Feels like more trucks on the road than ever before too, Taco prices just as crazy here as everywhere else. Nothing makes sense anymore.

Yeah once you get closer to LA city proper it's insane how high its getting. Luckily I'm in the county outskirts where it's a little cheaper but still going up. And unluckily for me I have to use premium lol. My work commute is short at least.

You have to use premium because of a tune? I want to do a 91 octane tune but I dont want to buy 91 octane.

"Be careful for what you wish for" lol.

I thought I was going to walk away with a bunch of cash and now that people are actually willing to pay up, I don't know if I want to sell.

What the hell am I gonna to do with 40k in inflation monopoly money? "Invest in the market" , ya sure it will double it in few weeks. Not. Buy the new ford Maverick or a cheaper used truck, humm now we are back to square one. Or wait till the cyber truck comes out? I don't know , that thing seem like it will bottom out hard over the woops. Also won't the Tesla computer have a melt down if I bolt up some Fox shocks and hydro bump stops?
