I don’t weld much aluminum (not good at it) so we send it all out. I made 16 of these bosses that get welded to a 1” tube. They are 1/4” square X .200” long with a .500” radius on the short side. I’d burn them up before getting them attached. If it was steel I’d be all over it.

 

In a word... Ugh!

 

That actually looks a lot like the eccentric shaft we repaired last Friday for our vibrating conveyor. Mounting bearing had let go and grooved the shaft 1/4" deep.

 

Afternoon folks.

Three women: one engaged, one married and one a mistress, were chatting about their relationships and decided they needed to spice up their love lives.

I was wearing the leather bodice, black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes.
As soon as he came in the door and saw me he said: ‘What’s for dinner, Batman?'”

I've had a couple of jobs over the years where someone will bring me turd that looks similar and ask me if I can make one!!! I mean theres not a place on there to take any kind of measurement.

I'm getting about $470 out from escrow. You just made me sad. I didn't even think I'd need to put it back....

At least we went from 5.54% to 2.875% and from a 30 yr to a 20 yr loan. Shaved off 8 years and a sickening amount of interest.

Yeah. Makes me wish I could've just wrote a check and not financed. We can only dream....

 

I'm nowhere near being able to do that for the house. We did kill off my wife's student loan, though.

I was lucky we both graduated debt free. I worked two jobs for part of the time I went to school, but I also went to tech school. Hers was paid for through the Union I'm in.

 

I bought my mother her first color TV for Christmas in 1993.
When I was a kid our black & white TV had vacuum tubes, for years we had a floor fan under it to stop the picture from doing a horizontal hold roll.
