Complicated implies a rational and repeatable process where you can plan ahead. Putting Spocks brain back for example.

    Easy -- security.
Approach a woman in a store, try to strike up a conversation.
Soon she will start calling "SECURITY, SECURITY!" And pointing at you. ;)

Tig welded another set of arms today. Getting a little more comfortable with it.

The owner of my local taco spot owns a Tacoma and is always BSing trucks when he sees me come in. Lately his health has been deteriorating to the point where it’s hard for him to get in and out of the truck but he wants to keep it. He asked if I could lower his side steps to a more manageable level and to help get in and out of the truck. I added 3” to the mounting brackets and that brought them down to where it’s easier for him to get a foot on them and it was a good compromise where they weren’t hanging drastically low. I know a lot of people hate on tube steps but each person has their own needs. He was super happy with the resulting drop.

That is very nice of you @GHOST SHIP for helping him find a way to keep his truck longer! Especially when he is not ready to let it go.

Ive been going to that taco spot since I moved to the area- small family run business and a lot of the people that work there know me as a regular if they don’t know me by name. They struggled a lot last year during COVID and almost shut down so it didn’t feel right to charge him for what ended up being a quick job to help his mobility. If you’re ever in the area, stop by and tell em I sent you.

My wife just walked and saw the photo; She commented that they looked liked dogs. I replied, 'They are, one of them is sniffing the others' butt!

    Nice work!

New dedicated cordless Milwaukee rotary tool to use for tungsten grinding. Was kind of a hassle using my corded dremel.

Students sometimes run out of time to finish welding projects so I grab them outa the trash and make sure I remember how to earn a living. I dont get to weld much anymore but got a solid 5’ of practice on this one.

might not really be applicable but i figure anyone here would have the most experience.

i need a good metal cutting disk for a dremel. the generic ones keep shattering/breaking and id like to make a cut without going through 10 of them
