I’ve seen a bunch of threads with similar issues related to highway whistling but not in this location. Essentially when I get above 70 on the highway this high pitch whistle/whine noise starts coming from the passenger window. If I crack the window it stops but obviously that’s insufficient at highway speeds/wet weather. Logic tells me it’s an issue with the door seal or weather stripping but I haven’t been able to pinpoint it from the other side of the car. Everything looks normal when I inspect it as well. Has anyone had a similar issue and know how to fix it? Thanks

Close a dollar bill in the door in several places there should be a fair amount of resistance to remove the bill if not that’s your problem

Open the door, take a piece of paper and hold it between the rubber seal and the door aperture. Close the door fully. Pull on the paper and if it's tight then move onto a different spot. You might have to try multiple spots to locate an area that is not fully sealed. If the paper is hard to pull in all locations then that will eliminate the door.

Then you can focus on the window rubber to see if there is anywhere it might not be sealed. Use a water hose when the window is closed. Aim the water in all directions at the window seal to see if it makes it into the inside. Hope this helps

I use a homemade smoke machine. Turn your hvac blower on full blast, close up cab. Run the hose from the smoke machine close to suspected area. Escaping air from inside will deflect the smoke. There ya go.

My truck had a Kazoo/ Whistling noise coming from the passenger front window after I installed the snorkel at speeds above 50mph... It would also go away when I would crack the window or roll it down. I ended up shoving some small irrigation hose into the door seal from about the base of the front of the window where the mirror is to the aft end of the window/door ending at the base of where the window bottom is.

So in my case it was actually the door seal even though it seemed like the window, and this fixed it.

    TSB is not a recall...

There is a factory solution though.
