Best Toyota pickup ever produced as confirmed by Mike Sweers, JD Power and Associates, Motor Trend Online, and the great granddaughter of Sakichi Toyoda himself. It will never be topped.

Definitely check out the legroom in a double cab before you make a move. It’s tight. Once my kids got past 10 or so they were cramped.

Not doing anything until I find one worth looking at. Heading to the dealership for frame spray tomorrow, for the rust recall, so will see what they have available and maybe get an idea of what the old girl is worth.

Can someone explain why the 17s? Not saying you are wrong, but what’s the big deal with the 2017 model?

Don't let the dealer tell you what they think your 2014 is worth, look it up on Carvana and other online sites that are offering top dollar right now. Tell them that's what you're looking for. The dealer will lowball you

Gee, I didn’t realize having TSS was a bad thing. Lol. The only time it ever annoys me is when I get that stupid warning message on the dash telling me to clean it.

I've had 16, 17, 19, 20, it doesnt bother me either, beats the stupid go pro mount and adaptive cruise control is amazing. And 17's didnt have leather as an option and those cloth seats were ugly trash in the premium package. You get people who claim its a nanny thing and hinders off road performance, etc (TSS).

I have my number, would either get it there at the dealer or through a private sale. Still need to research third gens before going further, don't know much about them and this thread isn't the place to ask. Thanks for the info :D

I’m in it for the long haul. I would sell right now in a heartbeat if it was stock and I didn’t need/want a compact 4x4 truck. If your just bouncing from one car to another I dump it in a heartbeat and get something else.

My gears were hand cut by Mike Sweers. My truck was made on the 17th day, of the 17th month, of 2017, so got special attention. The fellas from TFL even read some prayers as it rolled off the line.

I mostly jest. I like my 2017 well enough. It does have the advantage of not having TSS of you wanna lift and fit bumpers. It has the good back up camera, and the driver side bed cubby, the transmission oil cooler, the extreme heat level heated seats, and a few other things they deleted after 2017. It doesn’t have the power seat, and came with the old transmission tune, which I had the dealer update.

Also possible to have gotten a Trd off road , manual transmission with no push start (so you can actually bump start it if needed)
