    Are you using Carbide tooling? I've never had any issue with stainless.

    Yes...I'm more whining about the slow speed ya gotta use to drill the hole not so much the outer diameter. But it is much nicer to be able to take big cuts of aluminum than all the smaller passes you make with stainless.

    That's what I was thinking, otherwise that hardline interferes with the UCA gusset.

    They completely replace the OE hard line from the point you're pointing to in #2 and go straight to the caliper.

    Front suspension: Work in progress JD Fab +4 LT, LCA pivot kit, steering slide rack, 934CVs Rear suspension: Archive Garage shock relocation and SUA Conversion,King 14x2.5 shocks, King 2x2 hydro bumps, FN wheels 5 stars, sliders
    What I did was place the fill plate on the area to be cut. If you notice it’s shaped similar to the frame. I traced the outline of it to the frame and cut out the inside of my lines. Worked some more of the frame so that this fill place sort of sat into a spot where I had close to 1/4 inch clearance from the CV.

    It’s pretty obvious once you get under there. To test fit the 934, you don’t have to seat it all the way in the diff. Just get the splines started and you’ll see if you have enough clearance. I could have taken out a little more up top to fit the provided plate in the frame but I didn’t care enough to.

    I've read through this thread Twice now. I have a third gen, and I for sure want the 2.25 LT kit, 934 CVs UCA gussets and the LCA pivots. I had been looking at the RCLT from MC but I think I'll be quite satisifed with the quality of JD's components as everything in this thread is well thought out and manufactured well. I 'only' plan on running 35's but I think I'd still be interested in the inner fender wells once they've been developed for the 3rds just for the strength upgrade alone. Steering is probably my main concern planning all this out. The slide rack looks great but I understand about the oil filter location. I actually was running the Baxter performance remote kit for awhile but took it off due to a leaking hose. I've got their spin on conversion installed right now as I detest the cartridge filters. Not sure if the remote kit provides enough room for the slide rack though. MC has their "Mar rack" using the 200 series LC rack. That install doesn't look too bad. I just wonder how that compares to the JD fab slide rack.
