    Evenin' PA!

Trip for ethanol free gas was uneventful, luckily. They're still doing crack sealing on US30 mountain so that was fun to sit in, car smelled a little hot but the gauge never moved. Although where I stopped was after a long steep straightaway I was buzzin' up pretty fast. :rofl:Even the Tacoma will smell "hot" on that stretch of road; though most times I'm haulin' ass... Seen a semi at the bottom heading up back home that almost looked like it was on fire they smoked their brakes that bad. Rookies

Got the lawn mowed so I got that covered. Second coat of that Griot's spray went on the truck and windows cleaned. Truck is all ready to go! Almost hate to get it out of the garage now. Did noticed a couple spots on the differential housing that are seeping. So it looks like I get to make an appointment with the dealer to look at it. Should not be doing that at 7K miles. Oh well, still love the truck. "Growing pains" I guess.

Looks like we dodged the storms here. Little bit of wind and one single rumble of thunder, but just a sprinkle of rain. Was hoping for more, oh well.

I got 2 wawa stations that carry non-E gas near me…. 3.89 a gallon last I checked. I grab 2 gallons at a time. Don’t use it much until the end of the season

The only place close to me that sells ethanol free gas is that station I went to which is about 21 miles away in Chambersburg. Place called Miller's (@MoneyMan55 will know exactly where I'm talkin' about, goes by there every day, lol), used to be Sunoco, not sure what brand it is now. Was $3.49 for 90 octane. I try and run it in my mowers if I can, if not no biggie. Except for winter storage and the snow blower. That will be ethanol free! I figured the car being a 1995 would like some ethanol free. Ran great all the way back home, even up the mountain. Ran to the bank later on; it acted up and wanted to be a little bitch. Damn car

Yea man. I feel ya. I like twisted tea and really like captain Morgan long Island drink but trying to switch to ice tea vodka to reduce the sugar intake.

Well I be damned, started looking around and it looks like Sheetz is getting into the ethanol free game. One station in Chambersburg and the other near where I work at in Hagerstown, MD. Both are 90 octane rating. Yea I know everybody here badmouths Sheetz gas, but honestly I haven't had any issues. I know they get from the cheapest supplier, but I do know it's always "fresh" The Sheetz I usually get my gas in MD is always super busy. I see the tanker there atleast twice in my 4 day work week.

I'm certain the amount of detergents in their gas is somewhat low so I just throw in a bottle of Techron every 1500-2000 miles or so. Reminds me the Camry and Tacoma are both due for that...

Fun filled and exciting day of lawn work.
3 hours hacking at hedges that haven't been trimmed in a long time, I guess they look less bad, kind of like the guy trimming them didn't have a clue. :anonymous:
Rounded the day out trimming and mowing 2 lawns, finished in the rain. Earned the chair this evening.

I had four XJ Cherokees with the 4.0 engine, that engine prefers 89 octane gas or it will spark knock on hills, on ramps, etc. Every time I got Sheetz 89 they would spark knock. Sheetz does have pretty good pizza however.

Good luck with the exercise and losing weight. I’ve been running 2 miles 1-3 times a week for the past year and the only way I could get down below 165 was by eating only one meal a day and snacking on almonds. I was doing that due to a fatty liver issue for about a month and did get down to a healthy weight. As soon as I got the all clear from the liver doctor, I started eating normally again and my weight just went right back to where it was (170 lbs) even with still running. Getting old sucks.

Hmm, well I'm just gettin' fat then. I eat more on my weekends and drink beer. Most are "craft" beers that are loaded with carbs and calories. Not to mention higher alc % :spy::rofl:

Yeah been there forever. The old man Erve passed several years ago, family is running it now. Pretty sure they sell racing fuel, pump into container only. Best place to buy bulbs if you burn one out, they always have what you need.
