I grow sputnicks in my garden off of other sputniks that have already started to sprout on the counter. Not impressed.

I dig Russia. You can either die of COVID or you can die from their vaccine. They got population control figured out.

One of my bucket list trips is to fish the Kamchatka peninsula. I've already fished Kodiak. It's a debate as to which area has better fishing and which area has the biggest Brown bears. The ones on Kodiak are fucking huge. Paw prints the are bigger then my head and the nails are 3-5" long. They are truly impressive to see.

Yep. We should invite @98tacoma27 as well. He posts up in the Fly Fishing BS thread. We also need to figure out the firearms logistics. Big guns for big bears. I never had to use one on Kodiak but I had a Ruger Alaskan .44 on the hip at all times. The 20" barrel Mossberg 12 was never more then a few steps away either.

Short barrel shotgun with heavy slugs does the trick. Those high caliber pistols, the .454 casull and .500 S&W hurt too much to shoot. Shotgun with a sling is much nicer.

And bear spray. Spray your partners and run the other direction.

Speaking of guns. I stumbled across a new trigger.

Maybe the bears like their food with some spice on it.
