I was just checking that out too... not a lot of info yet. Deep Creek runs parallel to Highway 12 up there, not a heavily travelled route
    https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/7534/
I think its somewhere in here, I'm due south about 35 miles

Forecast for my area (Placerville, CA) for later this week is 104*F Thursday & Friday.

Two weeks ago we were in the 97 - 99* range for several days. Then a couple days later, the next weekend, it snowed at Lake Tahoe. Now we're back to the triple digits. I think the weather, or Mother Nature, has the 'Rona these last 12 months........

    Evenin,

The constant rain all day kind of kept the humidity at 100% all day, HOT too..

had to grab something out of the camper fridge. therm inside said 99...but it only goes to two digits so no idea how hot it really is in there. i grabbed my bear spray and brought it in the house. dont need it overheating and blowing up in the camper.

You should put it in a case, like pistol case inside the camper or any enclosed occupied area. Little ORM thinking. Accidental discharge would be a mess to clean up, not to mention if it happened while you're in there. My 2¢ and how I store mine FWIW.

I thought about getting a tupperware thing for it. just usually dont worry about unless its left in the car. i girl i know used to work at a car rental place here - after collisions their 2nd most frequent insurance claim on a rental car is bear spray exploding in the car after having been locked up on a hot day.
