    Hey TW,

Vehicle: 2020 DCSB TRD Iffroad 4x4 with BSM & Heated Mirrors

I unfortunately clipped my side mirror while reversing (long story but it involved me running off of 3 hours of sleep and house moving), and it doesn't seem to have damage the mirror or colored cover.

My question is would I be able to buy the mirror assembly without blindspot or heated mirrors and transfer the current mirror/harness over to save some $$$? It's about an 80-100 dollar difference.

Not sure no heater is an option. And you’d have to make sure it’s optioned with side markers (so trd is a must) but I don’t see why a non bsm wouldn’t work and swap parts over

the harness stays with the truck so the mirror itself and cover could be swapped

Yes but you will get an error for the blind spot monitor when its turned on.

You can even put rav4 mirror lenses in it if you wanted to.

Honestly, you have a really nice truck, spend the money and get the right part.

But if he took his current bsm mirror and swapped into a non bsm assembly then wouldn’t the wire from the truck still plug into the original mirror on the new housing?

his colored cover is fine too so that can swap over as long as it’s a trd model with side markers. It sounds like he busted only the black lower housing but…

It's really only the bottom outside corner of the main housing that got warped/pushed in. I'm sure a heat gun can fix it but it wouldn't be perfect and may warp the black a little.

See that green wire plug is the bsm right? Black is for heater.

Don’t take my word for it but as I said the only requirement you have is trd style side mirror with side markers. I don’t think a trd mirror will come non heated but do know you can get a non bsm. The only difference (that I know of, which is just from a guy on the internet) with bsm/non is the actual mirror itself and if you swap the current mirror with the new assembly it will plug in just the same as before.

again I don’t think there is any actual change in housing design between bsm/non

Fix it with the correct assembly suited for your truck! I busted my passenger side mirror and was looking at cheap aftermarket replacements, but after thinking about it ended up going OEM. Sure it was more expensive but I absolutely love my truck and i thought it deserves nothing less.
