Where to buy a 2nd gen frame

    Does anyone have any advice on where to buy a 2nd gen frame? I have some frame repairs to make on my 2005 DCSB, and I am just looking at all options. I am thinking about call toyota just to see what they say. Car ID has some frame parts, ill call them too. Thoughts?

    I imagine that will be a pretty pricey option going with Toyota. Are you replacing the frame yourself or just needing parts?

    Those frames from what I heard are a 20k claim for the dealerships when they do a swap. I could only think it would cost at least half of that

    From my parts info, it looks like the frame for a regular cab, 4 cylinder, 4WD truck is $5,500 to $6,000. That's if you buy it from the dealer.

    Probably just some parts. Toyota has the reinforcement inner C channels for not that much. Which is all I really need. I can weld patches the the rest.

    Yep, 4.0. The engine and trans have 322000 on them, both are getting rebuilt. This is a ground up build.

    Thanks a bunch. The frame rust was not part of the original plan!
