Ordered a kit last week for my DCLB with RSI Smart Cap and it was shipped within a few hours. I just got around to installing it last night and it's pretty easy and works incredibly well.

edit: I added a quick photo to show how they fit on the RSI cap.

This looks good. I'd love to see more photos of the installation. I think if I installed these LEDs I would put them behind the bars running across the top that way they couldn't block my vision while I'm digging around for things....
Where do the wires run to? Where did you hook for power? thanks

Finally got around to installing my strips in my camper shell. Easy to work with and provides great light. Very happy with the results. Thanks Matt IMG_20210427_230940956.jpg

I've had the lights on the bed installed for a while, finally got around to installing them on the softopper! It is bright! I used some heat-shrink tubing to make sure they don't fall off.

Matt was super helpful and quick, one of my favorite MODs definitely worth it!

I've had these lights on my truck since new, almost 5yrs now, and they've been awesome! Used them last night to bug out of a rainy/muddy camp site in the middle of the night...super helpful. I have a 1st Gen now and would like to get some for that if there's such a thing. I will be putting a Softopper on it so these for sure when that happens. The only issue I have is the pin/hood switch is a little corroded and when I open the hood I have to "bump" it a little to get them to kick on. Nothing to do with the product, just some corrosion I haven't gotten around to cleaning up so I would suggest looking at yours periodically and keep them clean.

@mattgecko, I have an 88 Toyota Pickup with a 6ft bed that Iʻd like to get softopper, truck bed, and under hood lights for. What measurements do you need from me to make this work? I saw the above message, I am not in a rush to receive it.

On another note, I found out my diamondback is still leaking, making water drip into the connection points of my lights, causing the short... I guess I need to make a better seal before I mess with anything else...

    That is awesome!!

Dumb question here, im sure there is a way, but has anyone wired the undercab lights to come on when doors open and off when doors close. I guess it would be wired into dome lights somehow. Any diagrams of this that anyone is willing to share...thanks and sorry if this has been asked before.

Technically the "Cargo Light" which isn't the same as the dome.

Yes, I have. I did end up tapping it off of the MESO puddle pods though. So, if you don't have those, the setup would be different than mine.
