Yeah, and typically when you have a stroke it's not just one side of the face that experiences paralysis, it's usually the whole side of your body.

I could still talk and was coherent about what was going on around me, and the fact that I could still function normally, but was experiencing facial issues, kept me from actually rushing to confirm I was having a stroke.

At my age now, I should probably be a bit more concerned about issues like a CVA, both my grandfather's died of heart attack, and one had a stroke just a few weeks before his heart attack.

This happened to my old neighbor before he moved … he wasn’t old probably in his early 40’s. Anyways it took about 8 months before things got back to normal. He got hit head on while driving Geo Metro commuter on I-5 years before by a guy that committed suicide hauling ass in his Corvette that crossed the median. He got his ribs broke in the wreck. His doctor said it was probably brought on because when they healed the ribs compressed his heart. He had to have surgery again. They split him open and spread his ribs and cleaned up the scar tissue to get the pressure off his heart. It’s been about 10 years since and hasn’t had any problems.

Back when I was "college summer help" at a Plywood Mill, one of the other college kids had this. Doctor's said it was probably stress and would resolve itself (never found any signs of viral infection). Took him a few weeks, if not a month, to be fully back to normal. He seemed to be a pretty healthy 19ish year old otherwise.

Hope yours passes soon!! Good Luck!

Well son of a gun, today is the first time I can actually drink something without a straw and not end up with half of it down my shirt.

Still a prominent droop, but it seems I've begun to turn the corner. :bananadance:

hard to see but it does look really odd.

I got one buck in Idaho that had a weird drop point that curved around in front of his eye.

i'm definitely intrigued by the new tundra. Would want to wait a few years and see how they fix some of the new gen issues that will inevitably come up
