What Ext. Ubolts for OME 2" lift do I need?

    I tried searching first and nothing. Not sure what size Ubolts I need or where to order them from. Any help is appreciated. its a 2" lift from OME.

    I found a local place that makes them, but they need the size

    I can't remember if the OMEs come with U-bolts, but my Deavers did.

    kit was already ordered and the front was installed but couldn’t do back since the u bolts were not long enough for the new leaf springs.

    Side note: After installing the suspension the lift was very minimal. Less than 2” from what it was before. I was hoping to run 285/ 75 /16 but i don’t think I’ll clear em

    My guess will be the 7.75" one but it is best to measure first.

    Compare the new leaf pack thickness to your currently installed leaf pack thickness. Next, measure how long your current ubolts are and add the difference between the new leaf pack and the old. Use this measurement to pick the correct length u-bolt from the wheeler site.

    It is better to end up with extra threads. Use a cutting disc or a sawzall to cut off any extra you end up with.

    Which coil springs did you get with that kit? There are several OME coils available, and they each have a different lift based on the weight (v6 vs 4cyl, or steel bumper and winch, etc...). The Wheeler's version of this kit allows you to choose which spring you get.

    Sounds like you may have gotten the 881s.

    Technically speaking, you don't NEED any lift to run bigger tires. There are folks running 35's with near stock height. There's just cutting involved.

    Lifts just make it easier because it rubs (less) at the higher ride height.

    Damn those OME U-bolts have shot up in price, when I got them about a year ago they were $45 iirc. Definitely not $60-$80

    Yeah, 880's are for . Interesting 4wheelparts sold that to you as a 2" lift... You'd get closer to that if that is a 4cyl.

    But even still, 2" isn't enough to get 33's not to rub without some fender modifications.

    Also, you sure the rear is stock? Even after the coil install, it still looks lower than the rear. That might just be the angle of the pic, though...
