Any of these will give you fair market value as well as actual selling value (cars.com).

 

Toyota truck and all used car prices are sky high. Do a lot of shopping around.

 

Right now is not a time to buy a tacoma. I paid 24k for my CPO 50k 2015 access cab in early 2020. The same dealer is selling a similar truck now for almost 30k.

I think the price is too high.

I purchased my '06 TRD Sport, 4L, 4WD with 105 kmiles in Feb 2020 for $15,300. I thought that was stiff, but it was within the "typical price range" at that time. Then the pandemic came on and everything hit the shit hole.

Over the last year, prices have risen, inflation is happening. Typical goods are up 5% over last year.

I'd suggest to wait 6-12 months. This pricing nonsense should settle down by then.

 

Buy my 2011 Tacoma DCSB TRD with 97k.

 

I just did a deal to trade in a 2019 TRD Sport Access Cab manual on a 2021 TRD Pro manual yesterday.
Though I did not pay over sticker for the to-be-delivered vehicle, I did not get near the 'quoted' trade-in value (generated-online).
Not much 'dickering room' for the last manual TRD Pro currently in delivery pipeline-- to be delivered next month.

Way too high. I paid $22k for my 2010 with 30k miles... a decade ago back in 2011!

In march I paid ~22k for my 2015 6spd DCSB with 110k miles. There were the older second gens with less miles for around the same price or a bit lower but I wanted the last year of the 2nd gen.

 

Yep and that is why I'm still limping my 05 around.... Insane markups..

 

Bought my 2013 TRD OR 4x4 for 30k brand new.....

Like stated, used and new car especially tacoma's prices are insane.... i wouldnt be buying right now if i could avoid it.

 

I bought my 2014 TRD OR w/ 110k in April from my FIL for $21k and I gave my him shit for it being too expensive.

FWIW, KBB at the time showed the same truck, in great condition, fully optioned going for about $22k-$23k
